Personal Life: Leah understands the struggles of parenting, especially being in a one parent household. She is the mother of three beautiful children, ages 11-16 years old. If it’s a nice day you will find her gardening, relaxing at the pool, hiking or being outdoors in nature. Her life experiences have helped her develop a deep empathy for others who are going through hard times. The love of helping others has led her to becoming a life long learner in all things related to psychology, family dynamics, relationships, and counseling. Her greatest passion is helping those struggling with addiction and their families. Her greatest source of strength in life is Jesus Christ, and she loves finding God in the details of her everyday life.
Professional Life: Leah received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Georgetown College and she is currently completing her Masters of Education, in Human Development and Counseling. She hopes to complete both her National Certified Counseling and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate credentials in the next year. She is a certified as a Master Life Coach and enjoys helping others achieve their highest potential. She is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota International Society, National Association for Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors , Kentucky Counseling Association & Kentucky Association of Community Health Workers.
